Mackenzi is a certified yoga instructor, professional dancer and two-time cancer survivor. She utilizes yoga, dance and other movement forms to create happy and healthy living through empowerment and healing. Mackenzi is passionate about sharing this lifestyle with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. She personally believes everyone should make the most of everyday given and have the tools to do so.

Mackenzi graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Race & Ethnic Studies and Dance. She is aware of intersectionality and strives for representation in communities of color. Mackenzi has been dancing professionally for the last five years and teaches Afrobeats dance, Hip Hop and Fusion dance around Denver. She also practices and teaches trauma sensitive yoga making asanas available to all. Mackenzi recently returned from studying Afrobeats and Dance Movement Therapy in New York City. She is excited to have the opportunity to share her passion for movement with her students.
